Admissions
Ontario Students
To earn a high school diploma, Ontario students need to complete 30 credits. Each students need to complete 18 compulsory and 12 Elective courses plus 40 hours of community involvement community involvement.
Out of Province Students
Students from other Canadian provinces are required to fulfill the 30 credits, but up to 24 credits can be awarded to them based on the evaluation.
International Students
International students who wish to pursue their studies in universities and colleges in Canada or the United States can greatly benefit from having a high school diploma from a Canadian high school. International students whose native language is not English might be asked to either provide a proof of proficiency in English or to enrol in an ESL course before entering the program. International Diploma Graduates
The students with high school diploma from outside of Canada can earn their Ontario high school diploma (OSSD) by completing 6 courses. ACES will review your diploma from overseas, and recommend what courses need to be taken. Please contact ACES Guidance office for information.
